10th Grade Literature

Students will continue reading "Cry, The Beloved Country" this week and focus on the theme of "Forgiveness". With so much hatred, crime, oppression, a void of values in the daily lifestyles of South Africans, Forgiveness becomes necessary to survive in the world of Apartheid. Students will explore "Forgiveness" through a written essay. Students will also learn more about various writing strategies such as properly using connector words and how to vary sentences.
